WakeBoard club Zrće 2009

Wakeboard club Zrće , Novalja ,island Pag,Croatia

With special pleasure we can inform you that the Wakeboard club "Zrce" is open, with its headquarters on the island of Pag. With April 4th 2009, Wakeboard club "Zrce" is officially the member of Croatian Waterskiing Association. Unfortunately, the CWA has instated the enlisting of new wakeboarding clubs as the last on the agenda of its Assembly. As it proved to be intentional, due to the fact that the new CWA president was elected on a new 4 year term prior to enlisting our club and so not giving us a chance to vote, they've also made prior changes to the CWA Statute, meaning that the Wakeboard club "Zrce" is now not an full CWA member but a joined member, according to new statute. This is the way how the things are done in Croatia. This means that for another two years we won't have the right to participate in making decisions in CWA and that we have give are best so that during this year we achieve more that some clubs which have been out there for decades, but did nothing for wakeboarding or for water sports in general. When you look at it this way, it won't be difficult to go one step further :-). Wakeboard club "Zrce" will in 2009, with the cooperation of Pag Ski lift organize one of the cable wakeboard Croatia Open contests. We are trying to establish cooperation with other wake clubs in Croatia, wakeboard friends and sport in general, concerning water skiing, cable wakeboarding and boat wakeboarding. There are clubs that do want to work, to promote and to compete, no matter the lack of CWA support.
