Steve Angello (born Steve Angello Josefsson Fragogiannis in 1982) is a Greek-Swedish DJ, producer, and record label owner. He is part of a three person group dubbed the Swedish House Mafia.
Steve Angello’s claim to fame came when he released his remix of Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams” in late 2004. Since then he has exploded onto the house music scene. In 2007 his eternal club banger, a remix of Robin S “Show Me Love” was released on Data Records.
Steve Angello’s productions can mainly be classified as house, progressive, Tech house and electro house.
As well as releasing tracks through Subliminal, Data Records, Cr2 and Refune, Steve Angello is owner and founder of Size Records based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Steve Angello and his SIZE protege DJ & Producer AN21 meet to produce an amazing two-disc compilation featuring the biggest tracks from their own record boxes plus the very best of the mighty SIZE label.
Angello’s brother, Antoine Josefsson is also a DJ and producer who goes by the alias AN21. Together they have released the tracks “Valodja” and “Flonko”.
This super-talented young producer has been consuming music constantly since he was a child – although ironically, he wasn’t always a fan of the music he was surrounded by at home.
Max Vangeli is one of the hottest breakthrough electronic artists of 2010. His production roster features remixes for heavyweights such as Steve Angello, Gorillaz, Erick Morillo and Switchfoot as well as original work signed with prestigious house music labels including Size and Refune.
His music is played by Superstar DJs worldwide including Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto and David Guetta. No wonder he draws huge crowds at the world’s hottest party destinations like Ibiza, Miami, and London.
